Transforming an Empty Backyard into a Modern ADU
This project began with a completely empty backyard space. The homeowners wanted to maximize their property by adding a detached Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) that could be used as a guest house, rental unit, or private office space.
Our team handled everything from foundation preparation and structural framing to exterior siding, roofing, windows, and finishing details. The result is a beautiful two-story detached ADU that blends perfectly with the main home while adding functional square footage and long-term property value.
“A well-designed ADU not only expands living space but also increases property value and flexibility for modern homeowners.”
The finished ADU features clean white siding, modern windows, elevated access with exterior stairs, and a private entrance. Designed with durability and style in mind, this detached structure provides independent living space while maintaining harmony with the existing property layout.
Whether used for multigenerational living, rental income, or a home office, this ADU construction project demonstrates how underutilized backyard space can be transformed into a high-performing residential addition.
